The next intralogistics accumulator conveyor (STRF) type 323.01 is suitable for pressure-less accumulation of containers, cardboard boxes and other load carriers. One motor roller is used per zone, making it one parking place for a container or box.

The presented accumulator conveyor already has load on the last parking position that is ready to be collected. A second load piece is just being transported to the second parking position. The conveyor direction is illustrated based on the direction arrow. |

It is a special feature of the STRF that an occupied parking place is longer driven. Therefore, the two positioned load pieces are standing still while another load piece may arrive in the third parking place from behind. |

When all provided parking places of an STRF are occupied or no load is being transported, all drives will stand still un- til the accumulation is removed. Depending on the control, the accumulation can be removed individually (individual removal). This means that the first zone clears and the other load pieces move one zone forward each, or several zones get cleared at the same time (block removal). |

Staurollenförderer dienen dazu Fördergut aufzustauen oder zu puffern. Ein stetiger Förderstrom kann in einen unstetigen gewandelt werden, wenn intralogistische Prozesse dies erfordern, z.B. um Fördergüter zu puffern. Staurollenförderer kommen häufig zum Einsatz, wenn die Abstimmung asynchroner Förderprozesse verbessert werden soll.
Die aufgestauten Förderguter können je nach Bedarf einzeln (Einzelabzug) oder am Stück (Blockabzug) abgezogen werden. Die Funktionen der Stauförderer werden maßgeblich von der eingesetzten Steuerungstechnik beeinflusst.
